Led by frontwoman Tahlia Meadows and featuring skilled musicians Joe Wilson on lead guitar, Matt Oliver on bass, and Jesse Cowan on drums, The DG's have made a significant impact since their formation 2023.
In their inaugural year and the year following, The DG's have already showcased their talent at 22 shows and festivals around North Queensland, including impressive openings for Dune Rats and Kim Churchill in Airlie Beach and British India in Mackay and Townsville. They believe in uniting civilians in conversation, truth, and a big old punk attitude to the occupation.

Introducing our latest EP, a labor of love crafted over the past six years. Tahlia, our lead, began her songwriting journey after performing in various bands, and some of these are among her very first creations. Initially, was no plan to release them, but as unique opportunities arose, these songs found their way into the spotlight. While the evolution of Tahlia artistry has led to some, each track—whether born in a collaborative setting or in quiet moments with just an acoustic guitar—holds a special place in our hearts We hope you enjoy each and every one of them!

The DG's have started making their own merchandise to reduce their carbon footprint. The DG's make their merchandise with recycled 2nd hand materials where they can. Some items are purchased new. All artwork is created with care by our Tahlia Meadows.
